Who's Designing Your Life?

Have you ever found yourself wishing? Wishing you could hike that mountain, visit that country, or finally go sky diving? You know you want it, so why haven't you done it yet? 

For many living with a chronic illness, the answer is all in how we feel. 

I know the feeling of waiting for my life to begin. I spent decades feeling stuck and it was absolutely miserable. I needed to get my health in order before I could do the things I wanted, but I couldn't figure out how to heal myself. I didn't even know if it was possible! 

Life can feel challenging and with chronic health conditions on the rise that we don't know how to manage, a lot of people are putting off experiencing life until they feel happy, healthy and confident. 

I'm on a mission to help people heal as I have because the time we have is precious and the way we experience it is the most important part. 

We have this one opportunity to do what we want, what makes us feel fulfilled and happy, and I certainly don't want to look back and regret not enjoying life as much as possible, even with a chronic illness. 

In order to find fulfillment, we must position ourselves to go for the life we want. That positioning comes from taking care of our mind, body, and soul so we can not only "get through" the day, but so that we can enjoy every moment of it. 

But figuring it out can be confusing, overwhelming and extremely frustrating... and that's the last thing we need when figuring out how to feel good!

I also felt lost and frustrated as I yo-yo dieted my way through severe symptoms.

My trainer didn't have the answer to nutrition, nutritionists couldn't help me manage stress, and therapists couldn't write me a workout routine. They all agreed that each part was vital to healing my body, but none of them communicated and I struggled to find balance.

That's why, when I got really sick, I decided to learn as much about each part as possible. I received a BA in Holistic Psychology which created a deep understanding of complementary therapies and then further honed in on the specialties. I got my Health Coaching certification from the worlds largest nutrition school (IIN), worked in the fitness industry for 4 years, and I've studied/practiced stress management relentlessly as my hobby since 2016. 

When I work with my clients, I want them to feel like they have someone who understands where they're coming from. Someone who knows how to guide them down the path to feeling better, who understands the obstacles along the way (and how to overcome them!) and who knows what the destination looks & feels like. 

There is no "one method" of healing, but through my integrative approach of working with a variety of different techniques, healing and fulfillment are very tangible realities. Ones that I've been able to achieve for myself and that I know are possible for you. 

Because, if I can do it, you absolutely can too.
